Ryerson University is a sprawling urban campus in the heart of downtown Toronto. In a constant state of expansion, acquisition of properties and new construction, RU is a kaleidoscope of old and new buildings within the radius of a few city blocks.  Cygnus undertook a planning process to identify wayfinding requirements, developed and implemented a comprehensive signage system to carry Ryerson's brand characteristics and wayfinding information throughout the campus. The system has been very successful in achieving the needs of the University.  It is highly durable, adaptable to change and extremely effective in unifying an otherwise disjointed campus. Cygnus continues to manage implementation as new buildings come online and provide overall program management with a team of dedicated project managers.  Our proactive approach and commitment to acting in the best interests of the University has resulted in a successful partnership.
