Minoru Park is nestled in the heart of Richmond next to City Hall. A scenic park with small lakes and a waterfall, walking paths, playing fields, a running track, and a variety of facilities. With dated and ad-hoc signage throughout the site, the City of Richmond recognized the need to update their wayfinding signage.  Cygnus proposed that the City needed a plan to unify the communication of site and wayfinding information throughout the entire precinct, and link Minoru Park to the more well-known Richmond City Hall. Cygnus undertook an extensive audit and assessment of the area from both pedestrian and vehicular perspectives. The phase one report pinpoints challenges, proposes recommendations and identifies principles to serve as guidelines in the next phase of work. Cygnus is currently underway with phase two. (Photo credit L-R: Jerry/selihpxe8; Richard Eriksson.)
